Business Nigeria: President Buhari Makes Another Political Appointment

President Muhammadu Buhari, has approved the appointment of Dr. Dikko Umaru Radda, as the Director-General/Chief Executive Officer of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN).

Radda until his new appointment, was the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Katsina State, Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari. He was also a former teacher, banker and Local Government Chairman.

A statement issued on Monday by the Director of Press in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Bolaji Adebiyi, said the appointment, which takes immediate effect, was for a period of five years.
